Incubator Village
In Beeskow in eastern Brandenburg, one of six new locations in Brandenburg, a new start-up center was established this year on a small picturesque island in the Spree River. Incubator Village (https://incubator-village-beeskow.com/) recently opened its new premises here.

Our client, Valuedfriends AG, which specializes in mentoring and scaling start-ups, planned and implemented this flagship project, which provides sustainable workspaces and project rooms for founders and creative teams.

From tiny spaces right on the banks of the Spree to a co-working space in an old carpentry workshop with a high charm factor, there is a wide range of spatial possibilities for founders to work on creative new ideas.

Valuedfriends AG relied on the support of Archicon to furnish its central co-working space.

Within a very short time, we developed a viable concept for a multi-use space that enables concentrated individual work, conferences, and events. With the right furniture, this balancing act can be achieved in the same room with minimal conversion effort. Uniform table sizes with flexible functions enable the realization of a wide variety of positioning concepts, and the conversion can be carried out effortlessly by one person in a matter of minutes.

Another important criterion was ensuring sustainability. Among other things, high-quality recycled conference chairs from a brand-name manufacturer were used as seating for the space. These chairs are extremely durable and retain their value, not only giving the space an excellent look, but also helping to reduce the CO2 consumption of the furniture while staying within the renovation budget. A win-win situation for everyone involved.

Despite the tight timeframe, all the furniture was delivered and assembled on time, so nothing stood in the way of the festive opening, including the press conference.
