3daysofdesign Copenhagen 2025
What a celebration of design and joie de vivre in Copenhagen!
In sunny weather with a fresh Nordic breeze, thousands of design enthusiasts flocked to the Danish capital again in June to find out about the latest trends in interior design and Scandinavian design (which is no longer exclusively Scandinavian). And they did so in the most relaxed way imaginable on this side of the Flensburg Fjord.
This year, 3daysofdesign brought together 469 brands, designers, and studios to fill the Danish capital with new collections, exhibitions, and talks. The atmosphere? Unpretentious, Nordic lightness, and inspired by curiosity about how design shapes our living spaces.
This year’s motto was “Keep it real.” Design should not be about expressing power differences, social classes, or prestige, but about intention, authenticity, and humanity. All of this was reflected in the festival’s motto.
The official press release for 3daysofdesign states: “The theme ran like a thread through the exhibitions and events that took place in eight selected design districts throughout Copenhagen. In the sustainable decisions, the innovative materials, the tactile experiences, the meaningful stories, and the thoughtful, carefully crafted details that enrich people’s lives.”
All over the city – in showrooms, historic buildings, and hidden courtyards – brands presented their new products and prototypes.
Among them, of course, were Archicon’s Danish partners: Mater, Dencon, and Bent Hansen. Here we present a small selection of exciting new products that were presented at 3daysofdesign.

Mater impressed and inspired visitors not only with a large showroom in the middle of the illustrious pedestrian zone in the city center, but also with the wide range of genuine circular product solutions that planners and builders can now draw on for their projects.
A highlight was the new, award-winning Alder Collection by Patricia Urquiola, made from biodegradable materials, which was presented to a wide audience here.
At Dencon, visitors were able to enjoy delicious drinks from a local brewery in Dencon’s hometown of tranquil Skive in North Jutland while learning about the latest trends for the office and experiencing the quality and functionality of Dencon’s product solutions and those of its showroom partner Nevotex.
Authenticity also played a major role in the development of a new modular meeting table series, which was presented as a prototype at Dencon’s 3daysofdesign event. The highly versatile meeting table impresses with its clear geometry and the contrast between the table tops and the supporting frame. In the middle of the table is a deep groove that can be used to hold cables and into which a decorative attachment can also be inserted.
The table system will be launched on the market this fall.

In addition to the Aware sofa, Bent Hansen also presented the new Vido Table by designer Rikke Frost, a beautiful table with harmonious curved lines, sophisticated details, and the option of a stylish and beautifully integrated combination of solid wood and marble when selecting the tabletop.
Signe Byrdal Terenziani, CEO of 3daysofdesign, wrote about “unique originals” in the run-up to this year’s 3daysofdesign.
How do we create them in an industry where production and price depend on volume? Where standardization is rewarded and special features cause delays?
At Bent Hansen, the team believes that it starts with setting a clear focus.
That’s why Bent Hansen works with materials that invite you to touch them. Bent Hansen designs for tranquility. Not just for rooms. The design focuses on comfort. So you can sit however you want. Not how a chair dictates.
In addition to the new products, talks and workshops offered insights into design processes, the circular economy, and the importance of democratic design. Copenhagen itself became the stage: bicycles instead of shuttle buses, open doors, and spontaneous conversations on the streets added to the charm of the event and showed how design can remain accessible even when being communicated.
3daysofdesign is more than a trade fair: it is a living statement about the role of design as a connecting element in a city that is currently one of the most livable in the world. Anyone looking for inspiration for spaces that radiate calm and warmth will find ideas for tomorrow here—and one more reason to come back every year.
